After one semester's Japanese learning, I feel I have improved significantly, especially in speaking.
- Intonation. I am doing better in intonation and rhythm. In the prosody exercise 3, I did a much better job than my previous exercises.
- When I speak and read, I pay more attention to the differences between voiced consonants and voiceless consonants.
- I still have a hard time in memorizing the intonation of a specific word
- For listening, I think I can understand most of the listening materials within the Nakama1, the tests, and the assignments.
- For writing, now I am able to write short and simple passages about myself, my family, short letter, and diary, etc.
